The Big Country Master Gardener Association is dedicated to educating and empowering residents of Abilene and surrounding areas to cultivate sustainable, healthy gardens. Through outreach, education, and volunteer service, we promote responsible gardening practices that benefit both people and the environment.

How to Request a Speaker

When requesting a speaker, please provide the following details to help us serve you better:

  • Date of the event

  • Location of the event

  • Time and length of the program

  • Topic to be discussed

  • Estimated number of attendees

  • Audience type (adults, children, or mixed)

If you have a specific topic in mind that is not listed, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to accommodate special requests whenever possible.

Please allow 24-48 hours for a response. We appreciate as much advance notice as possible to coordinate our volunteer speakers and ensure a great experience for your group.
